Shoal Creek Properties recognizes long time employees at Annual Homeowners Meeting
At the annual Shoal Creek Association meeting last Tuesday, June 13, 2017, three long-time employees were recognized for their outstanding commitment and years of service.
Left, Chief Al Thompson has been on the job in the Security department for 25 years as of this June. If you have come through our gates, you’ve probably met Chief!
Jeanelle Bennett, center, was hired by Shoal Creek founder, Hall Thompson, Sr., as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager for Thompson Realty Co., Inc and Shoal Creek Properties. This May marked her 20th year, and if you’ve ever had the pleasure of working with her or calling the office, you know what an absolute professional and all-around special woman she is!
Pictured right, David Brown, Resident Services Manager, who began his career on January 2, 1977 was recognized for 40 years of service. As one of the very first few employees hired, he literally left his mark on the place and knows every inch of this place better than anyone. Brown spent his first months marking property and lines and showing lots for sale, then began raking bunkers and mowing greens on the brand new golf course, quickly becoming Assistant Superintendent for Shoal Creek. In the early 80’s, Brown began offering landscape services to the residents of Shoal Creek and started the Resident Services division of the Company which he manages along with the Resident Services staff.
Shoal Creek wouldn’t be the same without these amazing three individuals — and we are so grateful for all their hard work, commitment, sacrifice, and time spent that makes this place so friendly, special, beautiful, peaceful, and a safe place to work, play, and call home!
